When can I register my company for the afstudeerbeurs?

Companies that would like to participate in the 22nd edition of the afstudeerbeurs (27 March 2025) can register as of 2 September 2024. When fully booked, companies can subscribe to a waiting list.

What are the options for registration for the 2025 edition of the afstudeerbeurs!

The participation packages have been slightly adapted for the edition of 2025. Please carefully check the overview of all available formulas. 

Cooperation with Jobat. What is in it for you?

Jobat issues the fair brochure and guarantees free use of the online job tool for a wide distribution of vacancies among students, alumni and PhDs and postdocs. An electronic exchange of CVs will be possible during the afstudeerbeurs.

Where can I find the information necessary for order forms and PO numbers?

Download our supplier info to produce a PO number or order form.

When will we receive the invoice for participation in the afstudeerbeurs?

You will receive your invoice early 2025 - in the course of January/February 2025. Should you prefer another time period, please contact Katrien Daemen-de Gelder.

Will parking be provided for participating companies?

1 free parking spot per participating company is included in the participation fee. Extra parking spaces in the parking lot of Flanders Expo can be paid for on the spot.

Please keep in mind that in the course of February 2025 you will receive further information concerning parking.

Will catering be provided for companies present?

A catering voucher worth €30 is included in the participation fee. This voucher can be spent on food and drinks.

What does the use of colour codes imply?

Potential employers can identify the vistors of the afstudeerbeurs by means of their coloured badge. The colour of the badge is automatically linked to the vistors' study programme or the topic of their PhD. These same colours are used by the attending companies/organisations to indicate the disciplines in which they are looking for new employees.    

During the 2025 edition of the afstudeerbeurs, the colour codes that companies opt for will be prominently displayed on one of the booth walls.

5 colours are used:

  • Pink: Life Sciences & Medicine
  • Purple: Exact Sciences & Architecture
  • Blue: Law, Economics & Business administration
  • Red: IT, Technology and Engineering
  • Green: Social & Behavioural Sciences ~ Arts & Humanities

Each booth will be provided with an A4 display. On this display will be indicated the exact location of your company booth at the fair, the degree(s) and experience level(s) sought after and, if applicable, the international career opportunities you have on offer.

The information provided at the time of registration will allow us to prepare the display to be put in your company booth.

We have to cancel our registration? Do we need to pay a cancellation fee?

If you cancel your registration before 27/02/2025, you will not be charged a fee.

If you cancel your registration between 27/02/2025 and 13/03/2025, you will be charged 50% of the registration fee.

If you cancel your registration after 13/03/2025, you will be charged the full registration fee. No refunds will be issued.

Employers who are not present on the day of the event itself will be charged the full registration fee.
