When can I register my company for the 2022 edition of the Afstudeerbeurs?

Companies that would like to participate in the 19th edition of the Afstudeerbeurs (31 March 2022) can register as of 1 September 2021. When fully booked, companies will be put on a waiting list.

The participation formulas have been slightly adapted for the edition of 2022. Please carefully check the overview of all available formulas.

Cooperation with Jobat. What is in it for you?

Jobat issues the fair brochure and guarantees free use of the online job tool for a wide distribution of your vacancies among job seekers visiting the Afstudeerbeurs website. Online exchange of cv's will be possible during the Afstudeerbeurs.

When will we receive the invoice for participation in the Afstudeerbeurs?

You will receive your invoice early 2022 - in the course of January/February 2022. Should you prefer another time period, please contact Valérie Ingelrelst.

Will parking be provided for participating companies?

As of 2019 it will be possible to reserve extra parking spots at the time of registration. These extra parking spots are not free of charge and will appear separately on your invoice. We still provide 1 free parking spot per participating company, included in the participation fee, as well as a free shuttle service to bring company representatives from the car park to the ICC and back.

There is a loading/ unloading zone at the ICC. Please keep in mind that in the course of February 2022 you will receive further information concerning parking.

Will catering be provided for companies present?

We provide €30 worth of catering tokens per module. A catering token is worth €1 and can be spent on food and drinks.

What does the use of colour codes imply?

Students receive a lanyard with one or more colour cards, linked to specific academic disciplines and/or business sector they study in or would like to work in, upon entering the ICC.

As of the 2018 edition of the Afstudeerbeurs the colours, indicating the disciplines within which companies are looking for potential employees, will be more prominently displayed on one of the stand walls.

6 colours are used:

  • Orange: Young Researchers (PhDs & postdoctoral fellows) - in combination with one of the colours below
  • Pink: Life Sciences & Medicine
  • Purple: Exact Sciences & Architecture
  • Blue: Law, Economics & Business administration
  • Red: IT, Technology and Engineering
  • Green: Social & Behavioural Sciences ~ Arts & Humanities

Each booth will be provided with an A4 display. On this display will be indicated the exact location of your company booth at the fair, the degree(s) and experience level(s) sought after and, if applicable, the international career opportunities you have on offer.

The information provided at the time of registration will allow us to prepare the display to be put in your company booth.

We have to cancel our registration? Do we need to pay a cancellation fee?

If you cancel your registration before 01/03/2022, you will not be charged a fee.

If you cancel your registration between 01/03/2022 and 15/03/2022 , you will be charged 50% of the registration fee.

If you cancel your registration after 15/03/2022, you will be charged the full registration fee. No refunds will be issued.

Employers who are not present on the day of the event itself will be charged the full registration fee.
