Volvo is an international group of Swedish origin. The group occupies an important position as a manufacturer of commercial vehicles: trucks, buses and machinery for civil engineering and earth moving. Volvo also produces marine and industrial engines and aircraft engines. Volvo builds trucks in Belgium and more specifically in Ghent, where Volvo Europa Truck, Volvo's truck plant for the Central and Southern European markets, is located. The plant produces nearly a third of Volvo's total truck production worldwide. Besides production, Ghent is also home to the largest warehouse worldwide for Volvo Group with our Central Distribution Center supplying parts to support warehouses and ditribution centers around the world. In addition, our Production Logistics department ensures that all our parts and products are delivered to the right place at the right time. Within Volvo Action Service we offer 24/7 roadside assistance in 18 languages and 45 countries. We also provide technical support to our dealers and monitor our vehicles in order to prevent breakdowns. Some parts of Volvo Group Belgium are not located in Ghent. Like our department in Brussels which is responsible for marketing and sales of the trucks. There are also Volvo Truck Centers spread throughout Belgium where you can go for maintenance for your truck and questions about your fleet.
