Company activities

At Luceda Photonics we develop design and simulation software for 'Photonic Integrated Circuits'. These are computer chips that are capable of processing optical signals in addition to regular electrical signals. The applications for such chips range from datacom and telecom to health care, sensing, quantum computing and many more. Luceda's goal is to help our customers in dealing with the complexity of designing these next generation computer chips. As a spin-off from Imec, UGent and VUB we offer a diverse job and the opportunity to work closely together with customers all over the world.
