Below you can find an overview of the interactive info sessions programme that will take place live on 16 May at ICC Ghent.

You do not need to register in advance to join the info sessions unless it is otherwise indicated in the overview below.

How to best draft your CV, get ready for an interview and use LinkedIn and other strategies to find a first job/internship.

This session is mainly aimed at people who want to follow a teacher training program after their first study in Ghent, Bruges or Oudenaarde.The session provides generic information on how to become a teacher in Ghent: through which channels or institutions, as a student, as a job seeker, as an employee. At this session, staff from the teacher training programs of the AUGent partner institutions will be present to answer questions.

The session provides a brief explanation of the diversity policy at the City of Ghent, with a focus on the measures for selection (and the 'Shine for Ghent campaign'). You are given tips & tricks for applying for a job at the City of Ghent. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.

In this workshop Eva Van de Gaer will introduce you to the opportunities Europass offers in your search for study or work abroad. Creating a Europass profile, you will receive tailor-made suggestions for training courses and jobs in Europe. You can also easily create a CV and motivation letter on the Europass platform and apply online. In addition, you will find all the information you need to plan your adventure abroad (which documents do I need, which authorities can I contact, ...).
