Fuji Oil Europe is a producer of vegetable oils and fats for the food industry. The office and production site are located in the Ghent Canal Zone. The Belgian plant features a wide range of processing technologies: from high-grade refining over fractionation to interesterification and hydrogenation. This modern plant is designed to produce a wide range of products, many of which are customized. Fuji Oil Europe is best known for its high-quality cocoa butter equivalents (CBE), cocoa butter substitutes (CBS), cocoa butter substitutes (CBR), functional filling fats and nutritional fats. In Ghent, we also produce cocoa coatings, cocoa fillings, hazelnut fillings and specialty chocolate (no added sugars, organic). These semi-finished products for the food industry are largely custom-made for our customer. The combinations for our cocoa fillings and coatings are almost unlimited: with or without milk solids, with or without nuts, tempered or not, with sugar or with sugar substitutes. Our chocolate division can of course rely on our in-house fat technology and extensive knowledge of oils & fats: thus, only the most functional and performing fats are selected for our cocoa business. This is a major asset within our sector.
