The Interuniversity Job Market For Young Researchers is back

On Wednesday 31 March 2021 PhD candidates and postdocs will be able to chat with you, hand over their CVs, discuss vacancies and watch a webinar you make available. The virtual Job Market for Young Researchers is very similar to a physical counterpart - albeit with a much wider, interuniversity reach.

Please take into account that the virtual Job Market for Young Researchers exclusively targets PhD candidates and postdocs.

For this edition of the Job Market we will make use of HOPIN, a digital platform that focuses on interaction and networking.

The 5 Flemish universities are properly preparing their PhD candidates and postdocs for their visit to the virtual Job Market for Young Researchers through (among other things) various, small and large-scale events on 20 January, 3 February and 10 February 2021 organized by the KU Leuven PhD Society. Also on March 29, in the immediate run-up to the interuniversity Job Market of March 31, we will further prepare the participants for their meeting with you.

During the afternoon (12:00 - 18:00) of March 31, you will be able to offer CV analysis to the participants. You can open the 20-minute slots that you wish to offer to PhD candidates and postdocs. They will be asked to upload their CV prior to the appointment. You can register here as a CV analyst.

In case of further questions, please do not hesitate to contact dr. Katrien Daemen-de Gelder (UGent) and/or Nicole Wedell-von Leupoldt (KU Leuven).
